Pop & Rock Memorabilia

The value of items related to the pop band Queen has been underlined by one expert.

In a Mirror.co.uk piece, James Breese responded to a query regarding a wedding card signed by all four members of the group.

He said the item should be insured for between £300 and £400 and said it is "a lovely example of the band's appreciation of their fans".

Mr Breese highlighted some of the prices that have been accrued for Queen rarities in recent years.

For instance, Freddie Mercury's sunglasses once went for £800 at a sale, while a record signed by the band can fetch between £350 and £500.

He stated: "Queen continue to be one of the top bands to look out for when it comes to memorabilia."

Elsewhere, Bonhams auction house in London is selling a piano used by The Beatles for an estimated price of £150,000.

It was featured on tracks such as Tomorrow Never Knows and Paperback Writer.
