 Almost each year, a work by Rembrandt is being shown to the public by one of the prolific dealers participating in the Maastricht Art fair. This year is no different. 

Otto Neuman Ltd. is offering a Rembrandt, titled Portrait of Man with Arms Akimbo. The painting was owned by the 18th century Renbrandt conoisseur Daniel Daulty and more recently by some prolific collectors such as barbara johnson and Steve Wynn, the Las Vegas casino owner. 

Asking price of the painting is £29.5 million or $47 million!

Maastricht Art Fair will show case work by Rembrandt

Last night Sotheby's held their Impressionist and Modern sale in New York with an impressive turn out. the sale was estimated to make around $158 million but surpassed that price climbing to $170.5 million.

Jonathan Ruffer donated $24 million to Auckland Castle so that the Francisco de Zurbaran portraits could continue to hang in their original places and not be sold at auction.
