John Lennon's toilet could appeal to antique valuation seekers

A toilet that used to belong to John Lennon is going up for auction which could alert some antique valuation seekers.

Pop & Rock Memorabilia

Antique valuation seekers may not need to imagine sitting on a toilet that used to belong to John Lennon anymore, because it is up for sale.

The lavatory - which is from the late Beatles star's Berkshire home in Tittenhurst Park - is estimated to be worth up to £1,000.

The piece is going under the hammer at the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts and was described as "one of the more unusual items" by auction organised Stephen Bailey.

So, if all loo need is love then you might be interested to hear about a toilet owned by author J.D Salinger which was put up for auction for an asking price of $1 million (£641,000).

Moreover, antique valuation seekers may also be alerted to the fact that a mono-sound copy of Two Virgins, an album that Lennon recorded with Yoko Ono is expected to go for at least £2,500.
