Chinese marble screens at auction in Florida

Two 19th-century Chinese marble painted screens will be sold today (April 27th) at an auction in the United States.

The event in Delray Beach, Florida, will see a collection of antique paintings offloaded by Bill Hood and Sons Arts and Antiques Auctions as part of its monthly sale, Auction Central News reports.

It is expected to fetch between $15,000 and $20,000 (£9,700 to£12,900). Meanwhile, in the UK, this week has seen the Sampson and Horne Collection at the Bonhams sale in New Bond Street get underway,where a series of Stafford shire figures are on offer.
