Antique appraisal seekers may be keen to see Hitler photos go for £30k

The images have been purchased for around £30,000.

Those in the hunt for an accurate antique appraisal might be interested to note previously unseen photos of Adolf Hitler have gone under the hammer for around £30,000.

The collection of images, captured by the Fuhrer's personal photographer Heinrich Hoffman, of the former Nazi leader has been sold at an auction in Northampton shire.

And these included pictures of Hitler - who committed suicide in April 1945 as the Second World War was coming to an end - meeting with former Italian leader Benito Mussolini.

In addition, the items were sold at the JP Humbert Auctioneers in Towcester and auctioneer Jonathan Humbert told the Northampton Chronicle and Echo there was unprecedented interest in the photos.

He added: "The phone has been red hot for the last three working days. It has been absolutely breathtaking."

Mr Humbert pointed out individuals must have spotted these pictures on the internet and been "extraordinarily hungry" to purchase them.
