Antique appraisal seekers may be keen on breast cancer car auction

A patchwork car made up of fabric donated by an array of stars may inspire antique appraisal seekers to raise money for charity.

Those looking for accurate antique appraisals may be inspired to get their items valued and raise money for charity as a patchwork motor is set to be auctioned off for Breast Cancer Care.

The pink smart car - which is available to bid for on eBay until October 29th - is made of out fabric donated by an array of celebrities, from Russell Brand to actress Joanna Lumley.

Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs and EastEnders actresses past and present Martine McCutcheon and June Brown have also put forward their pink fabric for the motor, which has been created to mark the launch of the limited edition smart fortwo pink passion car.

The brand announced it will donate £10,000 from the sales of its vehicle, of which there are only 100.

Breast cancer survivor Trisha Goddard added: "My piece of pink material is a bra because post breast cancer, I can no longer wear pretty underwired underwear like this … still, a small price to pay."
