Antiques & Decorative Art

The Philadelphia Antiques Show is seen as being a leader in American antiques and decorative arts. The founding of the show was in 1962. After 50 years, the show has raised more than $17 million to help programs in the medical research field mostly through funding of Penn Medicine at Penn State University.

The 50th anniversary show will started Friday, April 8th and run until tomorrow the 12th. It is at the Navy Yard, Philadelphia Cruise Terminal at Pier One in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Show Chair Patty Cheek said, “The Philadelphia Antiques Show, and the 50 leading antiques dealers and galleries who comprise the Show, continue to set the standard for outstanding quality and integrity. We look forward to celebrating 50 years as the nation’s foremost arts and antiques show.”

The show is expected to reach numbers of close to 10,000 visitors and hopefully raise close to $1 million. All the proceeds will support the development of the Penn Ovarian Cancer Research Center.
