A tractor has sold for an antique valuation of $16,250 in the US.
Those looking for antique valuations may be interested to learn that a tractor has been sold to the tune of $16,250 (£10,484).
The red 1952 IH O4 Orchard vehicle was bought by telephone bidder Mike White of Hartland, America, who said: "I just had to keep that tractor in Wisconsin."
Mr White's purchase was the highest of the Lulich auction, but other tractors reached antique valuations of more than $10,000, such as an Oliver Model 44 - which was sold for $12,000.
And although some of the vehicles did not fetch the heady heights of Mr White's prize, they were still popular, with the first tractor sold - a 1930-era Oliver Model 70 - going for $2,000.
Other modes of transport that have recently received a high antique valuation include a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drop Head Coupe - which had clocked up around 4,000 miles. It sold for £195,500 at the British Car Auctions.
