A $600 antique price guide placed on a basketball signed by Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan has been bettered.
A Michael Jackson-signed basketball has sold for $245,000 (£153,971) at auction, beating its antique price guide.
The item - which was also signed by former Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan - was valued at just $600 before it went under the hammer alongside an array of the singer's other possessions.
Other pieces to go for more than their antique price guides included a Beat It jacket, which fetched $156,000, nearly 20 times more than its estimate.
And one anonymous bidder forked out $180,000 for a black crystal-studded glove that the star - who died in June 2009 - donned while filming a video shoot for 1995 album History.
The auction took place in Macau, China and money from the sales of the former Jackson 5 crooner's memorabilia totaled more than $1 million.
This news comes after another singer's former possession outdid their antique price guide when John Lennon's old toilet sold for £9,500 after it was expected to make £1,000.
