An array of music posters promoting gigs by performers such as Ella Fitzgerald and Eddie Cochrane are set to go under the hammer.

The items - which have an antiques valuation of £120 each - are being auctioned individually at the at Woolley & Wallis salerooms, the Salisbury Journal reports.

Other stars featured on the posters include Bobby Darin, Duane Eddy and the Everly Brothers and they were all collected by one fan who attended each of the gigs.

The sale is due to take place in Salisbury on March 9th and the Cochrane poster is one of the rarest as it was one of his last performances before he died in a car crash in 1960.

This comes after it was revealed Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash is set to put his 1966 Corvette Stingray sports car - which has an antiques valuation of up to $100,000 (£61,640) - under the hammer, Reuters reported.
