More than 500 Posters Valued in New York

On Sunday, the first of May, Poster Auctions International offered more than 500 lots of rare, collectable posters. The auction house held their Art Nouveau, Art Deco & Modern masterpieces sale due to their success of vintage posters in February. Some posters, dating back to 1900’s show a rare example of craftsmanship as well as an artistic merit.

Included in the sale were posters of iconic figures as well such as Charlie Chaplin, Rock & Roll posters of the 1960s as well as early Monaco Grand Prix posters. There were even a few early automobile advertisements from 1906 with estimates ranging from $10,00 to $15,000.
