Lost auction 'a dream for antique valuation seekers'

Antique valuations could be sought for items related to popular TV shows.

Film Memorabilia

An auction that features a series of props from the Lost television series has all the ingredients to take bidders' breath away, judging by an expert's comments.

A piece by Maria Elena Fernandez in the Los Angeles Times gave a preview of the showpiece and indicated that those in attendance are able to choose from an array of exciting objects.

In total, there are almost 1,200 lots on sale which are familiar with fans of the show, from Penny's love letter to Desmond, to a note left to Jack by the character Locke.

She touched upon the sheer range of the pieces up for grabs, adding: "Many of them will leave Losties gasping."

Profiles In Creative has organised the event, putting items such as Locke's wheelchair and Hurley's Camaro motor up for sale.

It could be said that the enduring power of US television shows makes this kind of auction a winner for sellers looking to accrue a high price for timeless memorabilia.
