Two tunics worn by the late Heath Ledger have been given an antiques valuation of between £400 and £600 each.

The British Army costumes were donned by the Brokeback Mountain and Batman movie The Dark Knight star in the motion picture The Four Feathers, Small World News Service reports.

Both items, which were worn in the 2002 film that also starred Kate Hudson and James Cosmo, are set to go under the hammer in Bristol on February 1st by auctioneers Dreweatts.

Auctioneer Malcolm Claridge said: "It's a unique opportunity for fans of Heath Ledger to bid for one-off items which have never come to the market before and we have already had a lot of interest."

What's more, he pointed out Ledger - who appeared in A Knight's Tale and the Patriot before he tragically died in 2008 - had a lot of fans, particularly women, plus he was a huge Hollywood star.
