Want clocks and watches valuations? Rare Rolexes may appeal
June 21, 2010
Anyone seeking clocks and watches valuations might be interested in the upcoming sale of a variety of Rolex rarities.
Fellows & Sons will host the Wrist & Pocketwatch auction in Birmingham from July 5th, which will see a selection of timepieces go under the hammer.
For instance, bidders might be eager to get their hands on a platinum Oyster Perceptual Day-Date Rolex from 2005, which could fetch between £20,000 and £30,000.
It has an ice blue dial with eight diamonds, which may attract the attention of buyers when it goes up for grabs.
In addition, a stainless steel Omega gentleman's Speedmaster piece from 1961 has an estimate of between £5,000 and £8,000.
It has a matt black dial with hourly luminous markers, as well as a round steel case fitted to a link bracelet.
The auction house is also organising a sale for antique and modern jewellery from July 1st.
