May 17, 2011
In London on June 8th, Bonhams will be hosting their Russian Sale. One of the star lots is a c. 1900 diamond bracelet created by Fabregè master August Holmstom. The estimate stands at £70,000-100,000 with hopes that the bracelet will exceed that amount.
Other works in the sale include Fabergè works of Feodor Ruckert’s salt throne estimated at £30,000-40,000. As well as many other examples of Fabergè clocks, frames, and carved animals.
There are also a few Russian paintings included in the sale; one by Petr Petrovich Vereshchagin titled “View of the Kremlin from the Moskvoretsky Bridge” estimated at £200,000-300,000.
