Fantastic Jewels With High Values Come Under the Hammer

Sotheby’s is getting ready to auction off the jewels belonging to an American World War II spy, Marie Aline Griffith. Griffith married into a Spanish aristocracy family and throughout the years collected many necklaces, brooches, earrings etc. The sale will take place on May 17th in Geneva.
Some amazing highlights will include, an emerald and diamond demi-parure from the 1960s with an estimate of CHF 100,000-150,000 / $103,000-147,000. A fantastic example of a ruby and diamond necklace/brooch combination from the 1970s estimated at CHF 80,000-150,000 / $81,500-147,000. There will also be jewels from other collections such as a $10 million emerald tiara from the collection of the Duchess of Windsor, Wallis Simpson.
