BBC to bring Antiques Roadshow to Cardiff
April 28, 2010
Those looking to sell antique silver or other objects might want to head to the Welsh capital, where the BBC's Antiques Roadshow will record a programme in June.
St Fagans National History Museum will be the setting for the event, where free advice and valuations will be on offer for those who think they may have spotted a rarity.
The broadcaster claims that some of the country's most renowned antique specialists will be in attendance on June 10th.
Presenter Fiona Bruce stated: "Exploring the human story behind every object is what makes Antiques Roadshow so fascinating."
It may present a great opportunity for people to dust off the cobwebs in their attic and bring along a family treasure that may have some value.
The BBC claims there will be between 1,500 and 2,000 visitors each day at the spectacle.
Other big events due to take place in the world of vintage items include the Antique Garden Furniture Show and Sale in New York next month.
